COLLECTION PROCEDURES

• 24 hours from date of placement:File is "initialized" which involves verification of data entry, location and identification of all relevant documents in the physical file, identification of assets, identification of facts of loss and the first telephonic contact is attempted. The first dunn is mailed to each responsible party noted on the account.

• 1-30 days from date of placement: If no phone numbers exist for the responsible party, skip tracing commences in an effort to locate valid addresses and phone numbers. A dunn notice is mailed and a minimum of eight (8) telephonic contact attempts are made on accounts with good phone numbers.

• 30-60 days from date of placement:Continuous telephonic contact attempts are made. Additional skip tracing performed if warranted. Account status determined and status update is generated for the client. If no payment arrangements are established and the file is not qualified for litigation, the file is set to pending closure.

• 60-120 days from date of placement:If no contact is made or the responsible party refuses to pay, the file is reviewed for possible legal action. If not qualified for litigation and is non-paying, the file is closed as uncollectable.
